Qwixx The Duel is the sequel to Steffen Benndorf's award-winning dice game QWIXX. This two-player variant has the same Qwixx feel, but ultimately plays very differently thanks to the addition of a new game mechanism.

If you already know the dice game Qwixx, many aspects of Qwixx: The Duel will feel familiar. Once again the spaces must be filled from left to right. Only now you don't mark crosses, you place discs on the board. In each row a special rule applies to the front disc (the disc furthest to the right): this disc can be captured by an opponent.

In addition, in each row a tower can be built with the front disc by stacking several discs on top of each other. Every disc in the tower counts towards the final score. But beware: only the active player can take actions (unlike in Qwixx).
