Why would you want to play this?

• Expansion for The Quest for El Dorado

• Three new modules with new game elements

• More tactics thanks to dragons and treasure tokens, more variety thanks to face-down valley tiles

The Quest for El Dorado: Dragons, Treasures & Mysteries is a new expansion consisting of three modules.

The “Dragons” module introduces dragons.

At the start of the game they are asleep, but when a playing piece moves onto the space with a dragon or an adjacent space, it must stop there and the dragon wakes up. From then on, players can move the dragon instead of their own playing piece. That matters, because a playing piece in the immediate vicinity of a dragon may not be moved!

The “Treasures” module introduces treasure tokens.

You can pick them up when you stand next to them and play a metal detector or remove the required cards from the game. If you have collected 4 treasure tokens, that counts as reaching El Dorado. You can also use a treasure token to move twice in a row to an adjacent space without having to meet the requirements of those spaces.

The “Mysteries” module introduces mysterious valley tiles.
